![]() ![]() ![]() I'm on Yosemite 10.10.5 with 2x4GB memory (upgrading OS is not an option) when I originally downloaded Skype, the version was 7.58.501 after today's 'upgrade' it's 7.59.37 (how do I roll it back if I need to?)Īlso, why is having the latest version of QuickTime a requirememnt for having Skype? the latest QuickTime Player (no idea if Quicktime or Quicktime Player is the same thing, I've never used it) download on Apple website is for OS X 10.6.3 or later, from I can only send and receive text messages.Īlso, Skype is taking slower to log me in - my internet connection hasn't changed overnight, so I can't see how that could be an issue. I checked for updates - there was one, so I installed it, but same thing is happening over and over again. this happens whether I call with video or without. Me, and when I tried calling back - app crashed again. upon relaunch, my contact would say he received a missed call from this morning, I tried making a call, and the whole app would crash - 'rainbow circle of death' spinning until I have to force-quit. I had a video chat on skype last night, normal as usual.
